In an effort to conserve resources and create a more environmentally friendly landscape, the Minnesota Air National Guard replaced eight acres of lawn with prairie at the 133rd Airlift Wing. Carmen Simonet Design LLC developed an interpretive sign for this prairie restoration. In addition to design and layout, services included developing a wayfinding map, writing text, and finding images to tell the story.
