Interpretive Signs - Water Power Park, Minneapolis, MN

Water Power Park sits on the north end of Hennepin Island, surrounded by the river and views of downtown Minneapolis, historic mills, bridges and Saint Anthony Falls. As part of their hydroelectric re-licensing agreement, Xcel Energy developed the park and opened it to the public in 2007. A key feature of the park is a series of place-specific interpretive signs focusing on the story of harnessing waterpower.

Carmen Simonet Design LLC produced the graphic design and layout for the signs and facilitated in the sign production and installation.
